And with these words ShadowKyss hands over the Antidote potion to Odilyn and then moves in front of him, slowly walking towards the very edge of the Mist and Shadows of the Darkness spell. As she walks however, from her outstreched arms appear the shape of a Mask. Another, and another.

This mystical ability was seen; once before. The masks became shapes of ShadowKyss herself, until three shapes walked there in beside each other and no eyes could determine who was ShadowKyss, and who a Shadow puppet.

This was seen before. This was what made the name Jennifer ShadowKyss known among the Lyons and the Greenelf tribe. This was the ability that brought an end to Nym the Dark Elf.

And now the Illusions of Masks approached the Tree. As a diversion, perhaps. But certainly to keep this cursed tree busy.

@Vesz'yraen glances at the pair as he pops the cork from a vial and drinks it's contents. With unnatural swiftness, he rushes past the pair as they aid each other, erupting from the globe of darkness engulfed in shadows as he charges the tree. His flaming blade pointed menacingly towards the large foe.

Vipers being to hiss as @ShadowKyss continues to cast illusions on the battlefield, first Mist of Shadows, and now Masquerade of Masks. The viper heads are getting confused not knowing which opponent to face first. @Vesz'yraen did not allow for this opportunity to go to waste, so he made his move to get closer to the Elder Viper Tree.

Now when he got hands on the Potion of Antidote, @Odilyn quickly drinks it to remove all traces of poison. This helped him realize that @Vesz'yraen is actually aiding them, out of nowhere! With all the illusion diversion created by @ShadowKyss, @Odilyn slips through shadows bringing some musical firepower. "Thank you Puppeteer. Look Vashy is here to rescue us!"

As the viper bites unleash towards @Vesz'yraen, he easily dodges them, giving them nothing to feed upon but the air around him. This makes vipers hiss in rage even further, their demonic alike red eyes focusing at the target before them, rising their heads tall above as they scan him from head to toe. While @Vesz'yraen is distracting the monster, @Odilyn cures himself with the potion given by @ShadowKyss.

An arm outscreched erupted through the darks mists of the Shadow globe. The hand tence wearing a fingerless, White glove. From the fingertips of this hand a purple glow took shape and several Shadow bolts shot onward, towards the corrupted tree. And with that spell, Jennifer ShadowKyss sppeared again, together with the Shadow puppets wearing her mask as she did.

The visages that looked just like Jennifer were a strange, almost hauntingly eerie version of the Shadow Puppeteer. Floating through the mists, having legs not not moving them. Having a Mask but no eyes to look through it. And claws of shadow holding a dark Dagger. They looked eager to assault the tree as ShadowKyss would.

Jennifer Clones float by @Vesz'yraen, making no sound, silent as death. Each wielding a dagger or two. They circle the Elder Viper Tree, its viper heads having split attention between them, not knowing which to focus at first. But this was more than a mere illusion. Once the clones began to dance like ballerinas, the daggers cut through tissue of the monster, bypassing all the damage reduction it has. The Elder Viper Tree struggles in pain, as its liquids begin to spray out of its wounds. The theatrical display of shadow images under @ShadowKyss 's command carry masks with different emotions, but all of them had one thing on their mind, to hurt this abyssal creature, and to hurt it hard. Once their orchestrated assault ended, they fade within the night, leaving no trace of their existence.

After fending off the tree's onslaught, he unleashes one of his one upon it. Going with the flow of @ShadowKyss 's shadows attacks he strikes at the abyssal creature with fiery fury. Striking at the branches and finishing with a roar as he delivers a vertical slash across the tree's main trunk.

@Vesz'yraen sword slices through the tree's main trunk, opening it widely. From its wound tinny spiders began to crawl out escaping the tree, many getting caught in the fire from the flaming sword. Finally a huge viper head, the main head, the weak point that controls whole creature, with tinny spiders crawling upon it and out of its mouth, reveals itself with its red eyes locked at @Vesz'yraen. The display of the horrific monstrosity distracts @Vesz'yraen enough for the side vipers to wrap around @Vesz'yraen 's leg and lift him up in the air, moving above the main head for a snack. The large head opens its mouth.

@Vesz'yraen growls as he is lifted off the ground. managing to keep a grip on his blade. He looks up at the side viper holding his leg. He briefly glances at the main head with a devious smirk before using his strength to pull his body upwards in a snap motion, using the momentum to cut his leg free and roll into an upright position.

As he begins to fall down, he puts his sword into a reverse grip and pushes his left hand against the pommel. Gravity would do the rest as he stabs the main head dead center, driving his fiery blade as far in as possible.

The tree's menacing growls turn to painful shrieks as @Vesz'yraen first pulls the blade side to side, aggravating the wound he had already inflicted. More than eager to send the creature back to where it came from, he turns on the blade with a snap, causing the abyssal night mare to go into still silence.

All the vipers lose their voices. The death spreads through entire creature, turning all of its tissue into pitch black. It's edges begin with slow disintegration around its edges, growing with exponential speed. Creature begins falling apart into ash, into millions of pieces, that slowly float in the air before they evaporate and there is nothing left of it. The death of Elder Viper Tree reveals an object it was guarding, protecting, from intruders, from you. An object attached to the root of the Dnylis Tree, the one @Vesz'yraen 's Hag Eye sees as red.

@Odilyn steps out of the Shadowy Mist, with huge smile on his face. Not only happy that evil monster is gone, but also with performance @ShadowKyss and @Vesz'yraen. It was more than theatrical display, a flawless one, none of them suffered any harm from this abyssal creature unlike @Odilyn. He obviously still has much to learn: "Puppeteer, that was exceptional. I am left without words. I am sorry I panicked a little bit there, it's just hurts so much when those things bite you ..." @Odilyn's attention would now shift towards @Vesz'yraen. Still carrying his smile, @Odilyn lifts his arms high into the air with all fingers spread. It kinda looked as he is trying to stretch himself, but in fact he would simply express the happy emotions: "Ah my friend Vash! I can't believe you are ... here! Always in time to rescue me."

@Vesz'yraen takes a moment to consider @ShadowKyss. Her use of the shadows, vastly superior to his own, was elevated to an art form as opposed to his blunt and straightforward use. "Even in combat, she was performing." He thought to himself, trying to conceal his wonder as his cold gaze attempted to pierce though her expressionless mask, as if trying to decipher the mystery she was behind it, to little success.

@Odilyn then caught his attention in his usual upbeat manner, whereas @Vesz'yraen replied in his own. Seemingly uncaring and focusing on the matter at hand, as a way of disguising his satisfaction with none of them having suffered any lasting harm.

"Why are you here?" He asked as he turned his attention towards the object the Abyssal Creature was guarding.

It's magical signature signature lit brightly to his supernatural sight. @Vesz'yraen walked towards and lowered to a knee to observe it closely. It had to be important to the plans of the followers of the Spider Queen. The necessity of it's removal seemed obvious to @Vesz'yraen, intent on foiling her evil designs.

He reached out with hand as if he was first feeling out the magical aura the foreign object was giving off, and perhaps remove it if he deemed it safe.

@Vesz'yraen tilted his head as he recognized some of the magics surrounding the strange wand like object. He withdrew his hand to rest on his knee, resisting the urge to remove the parasitic object by force.

He rose to his feet and turned to @ShadowKyss and @Odilyn inquisitively. "What are these strange roots? Why are the agents of the Lolth planting these parasitic devices on them and guarding them so ferociously?"

He glanced back at the object before his gaze returned to the two drow with him. "Removing it may do as much harm as good." The seriousness in his eyes matched that of his voice. Both carried anger, though seemingly not directed either of them. "I need to know more, so I will ask again... Why are you two here?"

With a slow turn of her Masked head, ShadowKyss seems to look at @Vesz'yraen from over her shoulder, but she does not turn around to him. Her Body stands motionless, as Clouds and Mists from the ground retract from the land, and into the very edges of her long, black robe. The masks of the Shadow puppets slide into each other like a deck of cards and resize small, so they would fall in the palm of ShadowKyss; white gloved hand as if it was the most normal of occurances.

From all around the edges around the trees, the eerie laughter and icy whispers from what were once the Ghostly shapes of the Shadow Puppets was heared.

ShadowKyss keeps looking at @Vesz'yraen, perhaps expecting an answer.
Trees cracked in the wind that howled high above, as Silver-blue clouds passed the pale moon.
In the waters of shallow waterstreams the pale moonlight was glistening, offering a little hint of Light in the dark forest.

@Vesz'yraen 's eyes narrow at @ShadowKyss leaving his question unanswered, asking one of her own.
"Indeed you are one of Shadow's..." He muttered under his breath, his annoyance made obvious.

With a resigned sigh he addresses @ShadowKyss. "You may call me Vash, Pupeteer. You are wasting time with questions that are of little consequence."

He glances again towards the strange device, his grip on his blade tightening as if holding back the urge to strike at it. "Even now, this parasite continues it's foul work unchecked. To undo the harm it has inflicted upon these roots, proper magics beyond my ability are required. Failing that, a more drastic measure to stop it is unavoidable. Recovering what was lost is unlikely in the latter event."

He turns again towards @ShadowKyss and @Odilyn. "I suggest you focus on what is the immediate concern. And perhaps together we can stop Lolth from spreading this corruption. Now... Answer me!" He commanded with a obvious sense of urgency towards the situation at hand.

@Odilyn glances between the exchange of @Vesz'yraen and @ShadowKyss. The things get tense, but what does not for little @Odilyn? Seeing that @Vesz'yraen does not reveal his real name, @Odilyn respects his decision, but at same time he respects @ShadowKysss too, guarding her secret loyally. But this kind of behavior will not lead anywhere. They do not know each other, but @Odilyn knows them both, so he felt like he should step in and fill up missing holes reducing or if possible removing all the tension built in thus far. @Odilyn steps closer to @Vesz'yraen first as he gestures towards @ShadowKyss.

@Odilyn was obviously grateful to @Vesz'yraen's aid, he demonstrated that with words that in a melodic way answer his questions on the mission these two are, and even hinted that @ShadowKyss might be the one who taught @Odilyn everything there is to know about shadows. But @Odilyn did not hide concern of @Vesz'yraen's intentions and his behavior. He would turn towards @ShadowKyss to voice his mind at the task at hand as well, opposing the one @Vesz'yraen is leaning his mind towards.

Their priorities are likely not the same. While @ShadowKyss and @Odilyn seek first to save Enia, Vesz'yraen is concerned about putting an end to the Spider Queen's goals. Still they are aligned enough to be wanting the same thing.

As @ShadowKyss is faced with a decision and is making up her mind, @Vesz'yraen attempts to reason with her despite his mind now affected by @Odilyn 's mind affecting spell. He shakes his head, as he tries to find the words to counter the young fool.

"W... we may never learn what their evil machinations are... And if you care about this Enia, then care that the harm will not be undone... I would not want to miss on this opportunity to strike back at them." He will not stop @ShadowKyss regardless of her decision, but his perhaps due to his desire to take the fight back to Lolth, his plea as well as his conviction would ring true.
