| Definitely. Even if you don't like Apple or the Macintosh computer, Steve Jobs is still one of the most innovative people in the past years. The iPod pretty much overtook the portable music player market. Sure, many other people use different ones, but you can only go so far to say that it's popular because people want to be "cool."
The Mac vs PC debate will always rage on. Despite what anyone believes, Steve Jobs pushed Apple past the terrible phase when he was gone and now created a competing operating system which at the very least causes Microsoft to better themselves by trying to improve on the areas it lacks that the Macintosh does not.
Basically, regardless of the opinions on the products themselves, Jobs took Apple out of a rough time and came up with products which either set the standard in different areas or which drove other companies to come up with better ideas.
Rest in peace. |

| Yes. The Ipod changed how we listen to music on the go (it came out when creative labs had the nomad or whatever it was called.. 4lbs it was.. while the ipod was only a few ounces) and the Ipad... completely changed everything for mobile computing... I daresay the Iphone did the same thing for smart phones. I do not own an Iphone, droid all the way here but without the Iphone... the market would still be 10 years at least, behind. |

| Dimitri Medvedev said some good words about him. They had previously met and Steve gave him an iphone4 before they were released. |

| He died with 8 billion dollars, I bet he would have given every cent he had to live. Kind of puts things in perspective. Money is great and everything, but sometimes the best things are free. He was a great innovator, he died before his time but he left a great legacy. RIP Steve Jobs. |
