| I'm not a huge Ron Paul fan but it was kind of crappy the way everyone ignored him. |

| Bless Jon Stewart for bringing this media bias out into the light. Pew research just released a report on how the media is ignoring running Ron Paul stories in comparison to other GOP nominee's by a unforgivable amount. |

| The oligarchy rules, that's why he doesn't get air time. Neoconservatives love war so they hate him. Most democrats defend big government and entitlements so they hate him.
Wall street, the banks, and the mega corps run the show for now.

| If you want to see why his is so adamant about removing the Federal Reserve this is probably the best and easiest way to show it

| DM AXE, that was factually accurate, honest, and entertaining. I will only add this... We can not fight this tyranny as individuals. Only as a family. A family of God, praying and fasting, can we be victorious. This problem is bigger and more dangerous then people realize and it wants to deprive us of our freedoms and dignity. Lam

| Respectfully Quoted: A Dictionary of Quotations. 1989. NUMBER: 1593 AUTHOR: Benjamin Franklin (1706–90) QUOTATION: “Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?” “A Republic, if you can keep it.” ATTRIBUTION: The response is attributed to BENJAMIN FRANKLIN—at the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, when queried as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberation—in the notes of Dr. James McHenry, one of Maryland’s delegates to the Convention. McHenry’s notes were first published in The American Historical Review, vol. 11, 1906, and the anecdote on p. 618 reads: “A lady asked Dr. Franklin Well Doctor what have we got a republic or a monarchy. A republic replied the Doctor if you can keep it.” When McHenry’s notes were included in The Records of the Federal Convention of 1787, ed. Max Farrand, vol. 3, appendix A, p. 85 (1911, reprinted 1934), a footnote stated that the date this anecdote was written is uncertain. SUBJECTS: Republic WORKS: Benjamin Franklin Collection |

| In my opinion the most visible example of "Media domination and influence" is Libya.
If you look at the facts properly, you will find the "Rebels" to be extremists, they execute and persecute black Africans and they have the people of Tripoli locked inside their own homes.
Look at a video pre-rebel take over, the streets have hundreds of thousands of people waving green flags. Post-rebel take over the streets are bare.
Fact is majority of people supported Gadaffi, the country was the jewel of Africa. Free healthcare, education, even free cars from the government.
Gaddafi in his past was not "perfect", I can accept that.
But the way the media have distorted this event beyond reality is unbelievable and it's very easy to discover this if you look around.
The big media corporations have incredible influence over us, and it is propaganda. We don't realise this, or we laugh it off as extreme because we do not see the subtlety of it.
US media completely shut down Ron Paul. |

| While this section's used to discuss pretty much anything, players are asked to refrain from going too political with their discussion. The direction this thread is headed can lead to a lot of ooc hate.
I'm going to lock this thread for now.
