We have a Player Helper Scheme available. If you are new and have questions about the server, or about RP, then please contact one of the following players: (and if you are applying, please read the bottom section about how to apply!! )

You can find them by either pressing the P key which brings up teh Player list and which character they are on, or you can ask in the DM channel if a DM can find one (speak in it by typing /d [your message]


These are friendly guys who are always willing to help if they are free, so please feel free to message them We will be hopefully expanding the team later as several people offered, but are starting off small first.

To be recruited, this is the general remit, and How To Apply

Remit

As a Player Helper you would be available for new players to contact for advice and support. What we are particularly thinking is advice on RP and the basics of playing.

Qualifications

You need to have been here 3 months
You need to be able to put a certain amount of time in
You need to have shown that you are an experienced RPer yourself
Polite and helpful

How it will work
If a new player is struggling then a DM can look at the list of Helpers either on line or on the forums and match a free one up to the player. You aren't expected to spoonfeed them but to help them to understand how things work on line and RP, and things like pvp and what an RP out is, for example

To become a Player Helper
1. Please PM me with how long you've been playing and what you think you can offer new players and:-
2 please add a brief few sentences with your understanding of RP and the difference between IC and OOC.

Note: just at the moment we have quite a few player helpers so you are free to apply but we may wait until a vacancy has opened up before actively recruiting you. Feb '12. thanks !
