It could be noted by some at Krag, the Crossroads and the Underdark that the one known as "Jax" (Jarxan to those that know him) has gone missing for a number of days (IG).

Last seen asking about Two Forts after a Jaelre attack.

A heavily armoured figure dressed in red could be spotted snooping around the surface in search of Jarxan. A large red spear and winged silver shield strapped to her back, the figure strode with a confident gait.

Jarxan hanged from the cave wall of a jaelre cell. Naked though not too cold. He'd wake from reverie and look around as if he was adjusting himself to his surroundings.

Well it wasn't a dream... He'd test his chains with his brute strength but not find much use in it. Looking out the two doors he could see, there was some muttering and clambering of armor on the other side. "Two guards at least..."

Just as he was inspecting his surroundings, a small rat scurried by him. Jarxan whispered "Hey! Mouse....Little Mouse...For sake on conversation I'll call you Thomas" The mouse stopped and sniffed, scurrying over to him. "Ok..I need you to go get help...If you go get help, I'll give you some mushrooms and cheese..." The mouse sniffed up at him once and then began to turn. "Ok ok wait! Steak too." The mouse turned around and scurried back.

"Outside there are some guards. I need you to go past them and then down a hall and up a rope...or...hole leading up. Got that Thomas?" He'd say sternly. The little mouse wandered off out the door.

"Thomas better pay out...twisting my arm on that deal.."

Having already yanked the chains practically off the wall, Jarxan awaited Thomas to come back with reinforcements. Eventually one mouse showed up. Then another. Then another. Then a gopher.

"Thomas, what the hell? What the webbing hell Thomas?" He'd gesture at the little squad of mice and a gopher. "I said help."

Thomas ran around his little group and then back in front of them and squeaked as if explaining he got help.

"Large help, Thomas, larger help. You didn't tell these guys they are getting paid too?" He'd ask with an incredulous look. The other two mice and the hedgehog looked at Thomas as if they didn't know. Thomas squeaked a few times and then sniffed up at Jarxan.

"Alright but now you have actually help. I need the mice...Um..Fivel and Jeremiah to go to the guards quarters. Find their keys....little metal shiny things...Thomas, you help um...Bariston tunnel to the surface and get actual help..."

The rodents all huddled together and then split up as they were told to do so.

Thomas the mouse scurried in through his little mouse whole to where Jarxan was once held. They had been playing the sava game on the makehsift board drawn into the ground and with a little sapphire d8.

The small creature squeaked one quizzically and ran around the whole cell looking for Jarxan. It came to the carved board where Jarxan had earlier been killed. The blood had dried brown and covered half the board.

The mouse looked to the wall where they where keeping score of who won and lost. There were three scratch marks on both sides. Three under J and three under T.

Thomas scuttled over to the blotch and sniffed curiously. He seemed to pause in thought and then moved over to his side of the board, curled up, and waited for his opponent that would never arrive.
