can anyone give some advice on feats for that class. I plan on going pure. I have been told to get ICE. And spell penetration

Can someone explain the difference between the 2 warlock feats and spell penetration. They all seem to be the same to me

Spell penetration increases the likelihood that you will pass a Spell Resistance (SR) check. Obviously this is only applicable against enemies or expected enemies which have SR.

A DC increase to your warlock (or any other spell abilities) will increase the DC of any effects that allow a save on the target (ie - Reflex save for half damage) of your attack (if they have any), making it harder for them to ignore or reduce the effect.

that explains some. But considering some invocations are used with your blast, which is also the path im going, i dont see the difference on the 2 feats, except that one might also add to things like wall of fire etc, that dosnt come off from your blast. F.x. if i pick one that does so my blast can slow them. The effect is still an invocation (thats what they are called when you pick them) but it also still comes off, of your blast....

i just want to point out, im not asking on advice to make a PB, im just trying to learn the mecanic's of the class, and not pick up things i cant use, or is pointless. And so the char isnt crap

Not a 100% sure, but I think with the updated Kaedrin pack ICE actually lowers warlock touch ab (which it doesn't do otherwise). Hence it's not the same type of 'free' AC it is on some other servers.

I think so to. But i can proberly still use the AC. I think il take ranged touch attack. Hopefully that will help with it

Many makes a Stealth Warlock sience the Warlocks defense isnt the best but in eahter way.
Some tips on basic Feats good for warlock:

There are several good Feats usefull to WArlock like:
*Improved Critical Range Touch (a near must when using Warlock)
*Combat Expirtise/Improved Combat Expirtise(to increase the Ac)
*Dodge/mobility sience your proberly gonna run alot "lol"

in addition try finding some Items to icnrease your unerversal saves sience warlocks saves arent to great =P

you do realise they can add their charisma mod to their saves, right? should improve them somewhat but thx. Yeah, i also plan on getting feats to improve my ranged touch attack
