PostSubject: A man and his son.   Sat Mar 08, 2014 4:55 pm

After taking a long walk around the town, Alexander had stopped at a small wagon circle near the South entrance of the town. After a moment of conversing, the paladin was seen happily walking down the cobbled roads with a boy, no more than 5 years old, upon his shoulders. The boy had chestnut brown hair, and bright green eyes. The two were seen talking and laughing as the child was pointing at every chicken he possibly could. The two walked on throughout the night, and entered the Old Skull Inn...

The next day, Alex could be seen towing the child along to the centre of town. He'd kneel, and hand the boy a few coins while murmuring to him. Alexander would laugh, and pat the boy on the shoulder. The child would happily skip off, down the South road, with a small black and brown kitten trailing behind. Alexander would then yell, "Be back before sundown, and if you get into trouble, -don't- let me find out!"

Alexander would watch the Southern road for a long moment, before striding uniformly to the wagon, as per usual of the paladin to do so.

Later that day, Alexander was seen chasing after the boy. The child, Gabriel, had gotten ahold of the bundle of cookies that Kendra had given him. The paladin was no match for the son, as Gabriel weaved and ducked into brushes and shrubberies alike. Gabriel, and a few other children of the town whom had made friends with had chocolate smeared -all- over their faces. Alex, in the meanwhile, was seen grumbling and muttering about Kendra at his wagon...

On this day, Alexander and Gabriel were seen headed East bound, out of the town. Gabriel excitedly ran ahead, with his armoured father in tow. The two were laughing and going somewhere. . .

Occasionally and from a distance nestled in the outline of trees, a silhouette would be visible as it moved, weaving its way with ease through the foliage. Silver eyes peered out curiously, observing the pair as they made their way along but otherwise the figure made no move to interfere or make themselves known.

The man and his son did not seem to notice the shadow, as they made their way through the woods. Alexander softly murmured something to his son, before letting him proceed ahead. Gabriel, warily, would push past the brush and disappear. Alexander looked around, and smiled at -something- before following his child in the brush...

At Dawn's first light, the paladin could be seen chasing the boy, Gabriel, out of the Old Skull Inn. The boy was already wide awake, while the groggy, and tired man sleepily stumbled to catch the boy. He soon gave up, rubbing at his half-awake eyes and calling out. "Be back for midday!" Alexander couldn't help but smile as he watched the boy run off, happily skipping South-bound to most likely play with new-found friends.

Alexander himself them clamoured over to the bulletin board, wherein the newly appointed sheriff took post at the board; waiting and watching with crossed arms. . .

Alexander, today, was seen dragging a felled and seasoned tree throughout the town, resting it by the barn for now. If anyone asked why he brought it, he'd shrug and say, "Finished the job." Alexander rested his axe by the tree, for later intended use...

Hand in hand, the Lewenharts walked Northbound early in the morning. Their walk took them over the bridge into Shadowdale East.

Where they went from there, only a select few know. Alexander peeled back the underbrush to the forest, and looked over his shoulder. He scanned the surroundings, and stepped into the forest.

He was gone for most of the morning, returning mid-afternoon with his son napping soundly in his arms. . .
