Ahri strides out to the Crossroads after receiving the note from her old master. She wears bluish robes with a hat. She has a belt and a few wands, rods, and potions she has been able to attain doing work making scrolls for some adventurers. She has a staff, but it doesn't seem to have any major magical properties. She looks ready, and solemn. It was time to leave doubt and her past behind. She came to the spot where he was supposed to stand, to see if he was here waiting as she had been told.

Quite by chance, there was a shadow in attendance, unbeknownst to the rest.

After a pitched battle of magic and might, Ahri lay dead on the ground before a masked man. Before he could drag her away a few powerful wanderers intervened. Celovar, and a man named Jim, along with Nimriel and Arya had a brief exchange before the battle was joined in earnest against the Warlock of great repute known as Zaburra, the masked man, and the shadow that watched.

The battle was short and bloody, and while suffering many wounds, those that protected Ahri ultimately were victorious fighting hard with blazing steel, fists, and song against a shadowwalker's grace, dark powers and eldritch might. During the fray, a man named Nathaniel bravely jumped into the fray on the side of the adventurers, hacking and slashing with all of his might. When it was all done, Ahri and many of the combantants that had fallen were resurrected, and both parties withdrew from the field.

As Ahri was escorted away from the Crossroads, she looked back, a sad frown upon her face. She feared this would not be the last battle.

Jack no longer stands at the crossroads. While he recovers, he stands at the edge of the cliff in front of Castle Krag. Waiting expectantly; in vain.

Pathea, in her frequent travelings to the crossroads masked and cloaked, would look around at the damage, blood, and charred trees in shock, talking out loud to herself, 'What in the bloody hells happened here?'

She darted back quickly to the Krag, seeking out Jack and Zaburra. If anyone followed her, they'd note her turning her head sharply from time to time and muttering to her right.
