PostSubject: The Laws of Shadowdale and Banned People   Mon Jul 22, 2013 8:57 am

*Julia in Shadowdale's temporary City Hall, writes a letter to her great old friend Nadin, the Keeper of Myth Drannor, asking him to come visit her, sending copies of posts, thanking him for his help and for the help of his kin. She also describes the scene for his appreciation*

*Julia walks to the city board, rips off all the Zhentarim posters and puts a new one:*

"Rejoice people of Shadowdale,

the city is ours again, no more oppression and tyranny,

from this day forward, all Zhentarim laws and banishments are REVOKED,

the City returns to it's previous condition, codes and statutes,

everybody is welcome to enjoy and share the gift of freedom, since peace and order are maintained,

all Zhentarim, their allies and Drows inside City perimeters must be arrested at once.

May we build our present and future together,

Harvestmistress Julia Navarre Sallavarian
Temporary Ruler of Shadowdale"

Walking by the new poster catches his eye, reading it he chuckles to himself, and Smiles Warmly as he continues towards the Ruins of the Banite temple to purge and sanctify them

Sabi stops by the sign, "This is chaos waiting to happen, most of the adventuring types and even the Zhent imported farmers and merchants never knew the old laws. Hin will be lined up to warm their bare asses at the fire if rules are not posted soon. Hell the Zhents were here long before most all of the Black Hounds, we can keep the people from looting and beating on each other be we can not enforce anything else." Walks off to point this out to the provisional council.

*Taeron would inform the Hound mercenaries, as well as Julia and his own men about several individuals - Naldur, the slaver necromancer, Bel - the half drow Zhent friend and Silphie, the Zhent.*

Please remember folks that Shadowdale is still on high alert with being taken over. If you come into town and start trouble....expect a beat down. And then to be thrown out.

*Tearon can be seen chopping down the last remaining Zhent-law board in town, near the eastern walls in Central Shadowdale. He then proceeds to chop it to tiny bits and offers it to the farmers to use as fuel for their fires, or a keepsake*

Evan looks at the sign and muses: Good, the death penalty of worshiping Torm is gone.

Watches from the edges and thinks to himself that the only differense between the old rulers and this lot, is that there must be a law where woman must shave!  ~Chuckles internally~

Tasker will visit Shadowdale, now that all the fighting is over. He will just observe whats going on. He'll take notice of what the beggars are doing. Are they the same ones as before the change?

Tasker would notice the beggars are the same as ever, doing what beggars do..asking for food and money. They would look around with wide eyes about the things going on.

((Also remember if your hooded or masked the townsfolk are going to be suspicious and there is a militia within town that will check everyone. ))

Tasker will begin introducing himself to citizens and beggars. Offering coin and help with minor things. He will just get to know people. He will say in cant he is here to help and note any that reply in cant.

The beggar would look perplex as Tasker uses Cant. Apparently they do not get what he says. All he gets from them with his strange motions is a "Ya alright lad?"

///Since SD was recently taken over and all the Zhent guards with that high spot, true seeing, etc. are kicked out... OOC what are the new requirements for stealthing thru town without metagaming? IMO a militia watching over the town is not going to have as many extremely well trained spotters blanketing town end to end as the Zhents who were there for years did, but a course I could be wrong.

Tasker will continue strolling around town. Watching, who is spending the money, who is getting the money, who has the most workers and whos getting angry with who. Times of stress reveal alot about folks. Every now and then he will reverse pickpocket an 100 gold to a random citizen.

////Until he spends 5000, when I get back in game I'll give it to a dm/////

Mylanis puts a note under the one Julia put up.

We do ask that Rangers, Druids, and other nature walkers leave their companions out of town, as it will freighten the lifestock, and the towns people. Thank you.
