PostSubject: The Black Fang and her Fourteen Children   Mon May 20, 2013 11:04 am

The Black Fang can be seen around Shadowdale leading a group of children, ranging in age from three to fifteen. Each child is well fed, clean, and clothed in good quality clothing. By all appearances, the sixteen children are well cared for. However, should anyone get a good look at the older children, their eyes are filled with fear, hold no happiness, and are ringed with dark circles due to lack of sleep. Their hands are red and raw from hard work and they are always looking around for some sort of escape. The group is always well guarded by temple guards, but an older child can be seen slipping away from time to time. They never get far before they are caught and returned. The way they shake as they are returned shows their obvious fear of the punishment they know is to come. Audrey keeps them outside for only an hour everyday, just long enough to let them see the sunshine, before taking them back inside.

((Just to clarify, Audrey has 14 kids she adopted from the House of Plenty but there are 2 others that were recently added due to a later event so the total number of kids with her is 16. I'm sorry for the confusion.))

A hooded woman joins Audrey every now and then when she leads the kids out. She keeps an eye on them but its apparent she feels uncomfortable in the presence of the kids and looks quite irritated when one of the younger kids walks up to her and asks her all kind of questions.

A rather boring average looking man in wide brimmed hat is often at the vendors along the road when the children are brought out. He chats idly with the vendors but nods to the Black Fang if she bothers to takes any notice of man. After a few days of this the man leaves town for places unknown.

Audrey gives the man a brief nod as she keeps the younger kids entertained. She seems to rarely give the older kids any attention, other than to watch them from time to time. The younger children seem happy and act affectionately to the priestess while the older kids watch the man with the wide brimmed hat with dull, hopeless eyes.

A man in a shiny armor and silvery white hair walks past the priestess and the children watching them while passing and just moves on shaking his head.

A man with a spiked armor walks by the children with a faint smile. He looks at the childen and nods slightly to himself. He seems to be looking at the females. Suddenly he writes a note and leaves it for Audrey. The note sais "I'm arranging a summer camp if you want any of your female children gone for a while, signed Naldur"

Cruven would see Audrey walking with the children as he enters Shadowdale to check the auction and notice board. From a distance he would examine the children spotting the ones that clearly hate their lives. A large scowl would cross the mercenary's face but he'd say nothing before turning back to his business.

*While speaking to one of the beggars Arya spots the group walking by. Knowing this has been the group she has been searching for she takes the time to look over each of the children to see what condition they are in before giving a polite smile to the two woman. As they continue on Arya counts how many guards are with them then looks back to the beggar with a warm smile and continues on with her kind words to the woman*

After recent events with the warlock, Naldur, Audrey has been even more careful with the security around her children. The girls are kept inside and rarely let out, while the boys are guarded more diligently. The priestess is quieter than usual and seems to be deliberating a number of things.
