Elves needing no sleep and instead, if one was to know at least the Basics of elven culture, they do what is called Reverie; they do not need more then a few hours of 'meditation' to recover. Although most would know an elf remains aware of what goes on about their surroundings at all times or at least appear to.

When Mahalion finds out about the many fires that have been put in and out several times, the first thing he believes is, someone must have not only superior stealth then anyone does have of keen sense. Finding it completely unbelievable and very unlikely that everyone takes their reverie at the same time, he makes a note of it before going on about his business. Perhaps that was simply one rare night.

Mahalion makes sure to remind those of his house and those that have decided to settle their tents with them such as Jhaeros, Faolaine, Steffan, River, Ahraliniel and the other folk that frequently spend their time at the encampment to keep an eye out for anyone that might be sneaking in the Encampment. A joint-effort is asked to keep better vigil over the place they all share.
(To make emphasis over what most of the evenings look like in the encampment-from the OP):

The Ainural wrote:

During the different evenings, songs and stories were often held around their campfire. They remained most welcoming and polite overall to those that chose to approach and spend time in their encampment.

Having spent some time mingling in a friendly manner with Elves, Humans, and various other races that dwell within the Refugee Camp of Myth Drannor; Segemund continues to keep a watchful eye on Arivaela'ruar camp, his instinct to protect the Woodlands paramount to his desire to mingle with the friendly and welcoming elves. Sitting nearby, his own tent erect; he listens in as several of the Arivaela'ruar prepare for a "hunt" of some sort, leaving the city and their own fires unattended yet still burning... Gathering tender and a few stacks of wood, he extinguishes the fires yet again, setting the materials he gathered next to the now extinguished flames.

Afterwards he seeks a member of the Akh-Velahr, hoping to request a ban on the unattended campfires he has seen burning lately.

He always keeps a friendly air about him, even offering the few standoffish Elves who avoid him polite greetings, and avoids intruding into their personal space or following them when they leave the encampment when he sets up his tent nearby, his faithful companion Azzaren always at his side.

As the fire is extinguished yet again, the platinum blonde golden eyed elf named Alabyran emerges from one of the tents a piece of slate and a chunk of soft stone in his hand. He moves to it and rearranges the wood and lights it carefully with a spell. He settles by it for a time then. Of late he is constantly in and around the camp and seems to be arranging a few fallen logs and makeshift benches just at the edge of the camp always within sight of the fire.

Mahalion returns to the Encampment and sits under one of the big sized tents, with much to write and think of...

Mahalion comes back during an early Morning to the Encampment, nodding a greeting to each of his house kinsmen and other residents alike. He would sit at the table and then quietly gather some food in his wooden plate while his skyblue eyes stare at a nearby tree in thought, he remains so while he eats from his salad; A lot in his mind apparently.

*With Vildur temporarily banned from Myth Drannor, Jhaeros spends significantly less time in the Arivaela'ruar encampment - preferring to spend his time out wherever his mentor-like figure is.

He is not completely absent, however, so he does stop by for a bit to sit near the fire and fiddle with the rocks as he listens to the surrounding conversations.*

Alatariel continues with building the pavilion when her times allows , she binds leaves and wine between the branches giving it a natural roof. Each time she leaves the camp she summorns an water elemental and orders it to keep the camp safe as well as taking care of the campfire in her absence so it can't spread.

Ryniesta visits now and then' especially if Alatariel is around, but she still seems to prefer her nice and comfy room at the Inn. If asked about it she will say something about a study and keeping all her scrolls and papers dry and organized.

Ahraliniel was seen at the camp in the later morning and through the afternoon, she was with Eltaor, Mahalion, and Jhaeros. She later left with few words and hasn't been back since.

Eltaor is seen among the encampment quite often. Seeming to prefer their company to many of the other inhabitants of the refugee camp.

Steffan watches Mahalion depart the camp with Ahraleniel in tow. Several hours later he hears news coming from outside the City of Song that shocks him and he sends an urgent report to his chain of command.

A tired, beaten, fatigued and drained Mahalion returns to the Encampment a few days later at the dawn of a new day; entering one of the big tents.
He has not been seen coming out since.

*Jhaeros returns to the encampment, walking slowly as if exhausted and sore. He seems to favor his right leg as he walks, though he's not limping. His armor and hood are covered with dried blood, and he keeps his cloak clasped higher up, around his neck. He's also plastered with leaves, grass, and dirt. The quiver on his back has significantly fewer arrows in it than when he left, though his bow is still in good repair.

He doesn't make it to a tent, but simply drops to his knees by the campfire, lays down, then rolls onto his back.

While he's staring up at the sky, a noticeable smirk crosses the right half of his face.*

Ahraliniel wouldn't be anywhere to. Be found again, after whatever happened leaving Myth with Mahalion would have been the last time she was seen.

Hearing of various disturbances with the Encampment, Faolaine visits to try and find where Mahalion, Alatariel, or Vildur might be, asking anyone she can find to attempt to figure out what occurred.

Ahraliniel emerges from the forest in the early morning, she is covered in leaves, twigs, and dirt. She has a wide assortment of herbs and plants tied together in a bundle with some vines. She walks to a spot just next to the encampment, placing the herb bundle down and makes a fire. She walks to the encampment to borrow a large cooking pot, or if they did not have one, would walk to the nearest merchant and purchase one, going back to the forest for another hour or so to fill it up.

Ahraliniel would come back with the pot full of water, also a few fruits and berries floating around, placing the big cooking pot on the fire, removing the fruits and berries and watches it. Anyone who came over to talk she would offer a smile to and not speak a word. For a few hours she would let the water boil clearing it of any bacteria and letting it go up to a high temperature. She would begin to unravel the herbs and begin to add them in, crushing some with rocks and leaving others whole. She would also add the fruits and berries in slowly, This process would take the rest of the day.

At night fall she would put the fire out and let the pot cool so she could move it into the encampment, though, the brew would be steaming hot still. She would serve the tea like brew to the members of the encampment.

"It is a tea i learned to make from my Mother, it relaxes you and helps to recover your injuries, though it won't heal them as fast as any magic would, it helps to relieve pain and helps natural healing, a good alternative to always using magic or natures powers, It also has a good taste"

She would pour a fair amount into a bowl and walk to the tent Mahalion rests in, placing it near him, she would give him a light nudge to wake him up and leave him to his own peace.

She would pour another bowl and walk off to search for Vildur.

Faolaine learns that Mahalion is bedridden within one of the tents of the Encampment.
Visiting him will only reveal his form in some form of semi-lethargic state; although she learns that he simply is in need of some rest for the following days.

Mahalion is encountered in deep slumber...
At the nudge, there is barely any reaction at all. She learns from others that he is in some form of trance that will last a few days at the least.

Learning this should would become upset, (Not enraged upset just feeling that the fact this happened was her fault). She would leave the bowl of tea beside Mahalion, more as a symbol then anything, letting the calm smell of herbs and berries lightly fill the air. She would go early in the morning of the next day and remove the bowl, wash it out, and prepare a little amount of herbs to make Mahalion another bowl when he wakes up.
