Hm, I played my first module after reading through several ADND 2nd edition rule books when I was around 15 (1996). DMed several long-lasting campaigns for my friends when was in Uni (2000-2004), we would play after classes half-drunk, half-braindead. Was extremely fun.

Well i started 3 and a half years ago Im a noob so to say ;D

Been at it since the summer of 1980, friend introduced me. After my first game I was pretty much set on becoming a world builder/DM. I started drawing my first map after that game. Used a bunch of blank, white typing paper taped together and drew all over it. We started on AD&D if I remember right, and my first character was a Draconian named Ayla, yah I remember. Since I have played every edition except 4th, and in all honesty I think basic was the most fun, though much less detailed. There's something to be said for simplicity, and not having too much detail get in the way of RP.

Been playing NWN nearly continually since it was on AOL.

I started sophmore year of HS in '83 in the woderful world of Greyhawk. From there we went through Krynn and ended up in the Forgotten Realms. And from there I think we tried just about every RPG out there.

Yes, I have my first set of dice, and the set that a friend of mine gave me all those years ago when he moved and said he wouldn't need them. My players still fear the D20 in that friend's set. It defies all statistics measurements and rolls more crits than is scientifically possible.

Back in the early nineties my older brother picked up the core books for 2d&d, which I read cover to cover and nearly memorized, though he and i never played more than a single one hour session. To this day, I've yet to play any actual d&d, or any other roleplaying game for that matter. Last week i stepped into a comic shop though, looking for a group. Maybe that'll all change.

At age 1. I started my first plot called, "Put foot on ground and walk." It turned out with sticking foot in mouth and I got chaotic points for it.

Lets see rolled my first character when i was about 9.... and that was 20 years ago..... have all the books i can get my grubby paws on wisch equates to a Stack of TSR and WotC books 7 feet tall. if its printed i can find it.. given a proper amount of time.
